Landscaping Company IJsselgroen commissioned us to design a commercial building at an industrial location in Zwolle with a storage and work area of 160 m2 and an office section of 120 m2. The design consists of: a hall made from silver-hued corrugated iron and an office section made from terracotta-hued panels with western, red cedar slats and steel fencing. These elements fold into each other and metamorphose the entrance into a place where all elements come together. Applying slats of untreated western red cedar to half of the facades reinforces the difference in appearance between all four facades. A sun protection-element of anthracite grilles has been installed at the head of the office section, emphasizing the expressive corner frame.
